A home is a place where we live and spend most of our time, but what makes it a perfect home that fit you? Here what to look for. (This is just mostly base on my opinion. Any ideas are welcome).
Open-concept.
What does an open-concept house mean? Open-concept house means there are no walls that divide the room, hence, the word. So when you walk into the house, you will see the living room, kitchen, and dining room in one big room, making the house seems bigger and more opens to sunlight. Open-concept house is very popular today and many people who either want renovation or move out, desire to have an open concept kitchen or house. Open-concept house costs less when building a house because there are no additional walls. More walls = more money. However, renovating a home to an open-concept home can be quite expensive because you have to break down the walls and patch it up making it looks new.
Windows, windows, and more windows.
A house need windows right? More windows mean more sunlight. A house with plenty of sunlight will brighten the room and reduced the use of electricity, just don’t overuse it making it seem very ugly except house with many glass windows. Instead of using windows, you can use sliding glass doors.
Doors.
Double door is a great door at the entrance or the front of the house. It makes the house feels bigger and extremely convenient when transporting furniture. In addition, it also adds values to the house. Another convenient door is a sliding door. Instead of open outward or inward, sliding door slides into the wall giving you more space to walk, especially in a small house.
Master Bedroom.
A master bedroom is a must have in a house. A master bedroom is a big room with its own bathroom and walk-in closet. The master bedroom’s bathroom will have either a big bathtub or a standing shower with sliding glass door or both, and have to be bigger than any other bathroom around the house. Next is the closet or walk-in closet. Every master bedroom has a walk-in closet, whether it’s big or small. A walk-in closet can fit many dresser as it can depend on its size. It is usually next to the bathroom because it is more convenient when changing clothes.
To be continued… Part 2 is next week! We will be focusing on room color, size and use of the garage, attic or no attic and more.
This blog is very eye opening. it does a good job of catching the readers attention by opening up with a visual and by posing a statement for the title of “how to do something”. I also really like how this blog is organized with subtopics of different areas of the house, and then explains each one. The vocabulary in this blog is very clever along with some of the titles for the sections. The blog does a good job of leaving the reader hanging and looking forward to part 2 of the blog. After reading this blog, the reader should be able to identify or renovate the perfect home.
